NUTRIGENETICS PROGRAM
Knowing your DNA is the first step to nourishing and moving your body in a truly personalized way
The Nutrigenetics Pathway is designed to help you understand how your genetics influence your metabolism, energy, and overall well-being.
It may seem excessive to undergo a genetic test just for nutritional counseling, perhaps to determine whether it’s better to reduce carbohydrates or increase vitamin C. However, within a more precise nutritional approach, nutrigenetics can help uncover aspects that do not emerge from the patient’s simple medical history.
- This type of test can clarify many situations, such as predisposition to cardiovascular diseases or the reason why, despite various attempts, weight does not decrease.
- A genetic analysis allows for a detailed understanding of why a person may have specific health problems, thereby enabling the creation of a dietary plan more suited to their needs.
- Thanks to the test results, a nutritionist will guide you on your eating habits that can benefit your health or, conversely, discourage choices that could be harmful. For example, certain genetic variations might make a vegan or ketogenic diet unsuitable for your body due to your genetic makeup.
- Moreover, the genetic test can reveal the most effective nutrient sources for you: perhaps your body does not metabolize Omega-3s from plants well, or it has difficulty synthesizing enough vitamin D from sun exposure.
- Based on the test results, a qualified nutritionist can recommend the most suitable foods and useful supplements for you.
Another important aspect is that genetic testing can highlight your predisposition to developing certain diseases. This information obtained from a genetic test allows you to make important preventive choices to reduce the risk of getting sick, through a targeted diet.

What does the course include:
Based on three synergistic phases, the program guides body and mind toward a renewed state of well-being:
- Phase 1 – First and foremost, it is essential to schedule an appointment for an initial consultation, allowing us to explore your needs in depth and identify the most suitable genetic test based on your recent and past individual and family medical history. The appointment can take place in person at our owned studio in Romano di Lombardia, at the Catullo Center in Sirmione, or conveniently online.
- Phase 2 – The genetic test is a simple and non-invasive procedure: a swab is used to collect a sample from the inner cheek mucosa. This test provides detailed and personalized information on body functioning. The test can be performed at our studio or you can receive the kit at home and carry it out independently.
- Phase 3 – Genetic test results will be available in about 2-3 weeks. Upon receipt of the results, we schedule a follow-up visit, either in-person or online, to review the data together. Thanks to the specific information provided by the genetic analysis, I develop a fully personalized nutritional plan and exercise program. The entire journey is tailored to your needs, to achieve lasting results in a safe and effective way.
